Other activities will require you to win tournaments or unlock trophies to earn points -- or even be the first player in your local time zone to make it to platinum for a blockbuster title (which indicates that a player has achieved 100% completion in that game).

Figure things out. Perhaps you'll need to consult one of Tunic's most delightful features — an in-game manual, half of it written in cryptic runes, that you literally piece together page by page — or perhaps you won't. However you go about it, the feeling of sheer discovery is tremendous.

LONDON, Aug 16 (Reuters) - A court in Russia has fined streaming service Twitch 2 million roubles ($33,000) for hosting a short video containing what it calls "fake" information about alleged war crimes in the Ukrainian town of Bucha, Russian news agencies reported on Tuesday.

Sony on Thursday introduced its PlayStation Stars loyalty program for PS5 and PS4 gamers. It'll be free to join, and players will be able to earn loyalty points by completing a variety of campaigns and activities. Players can choose from a catalog of options to redeem points, including PlayStation Network wallet funds and select PlayStation Store products.
A note on the game's website says: 'JK Rowling is not involved in the creation of the game, but as creator of the wizarding world and one of the world's greatest storytellers, her extraordinary body of writing is the foundation of all projects in the Wizarding World. 

PlayStation has told gamers that they will be able to 'decide the fate' of the magical universe, and will 'encounter missions and scenarios that will pose difficult choices and determine what they stand for'.

The PlayStation Stars program will launch later this year, though an exact time frame hasn't been provided yet. CNET reached out to PlayStation, but the gaming giant didn't immediately respond for comment.
