Last month, the judge overseeing the trial approved a request by United States attorney Damian Williams and postponed The Real Housewives Of Salt Lake City star's sentencing, according to . 
Citing a 'scheduling conflict on the part of several members of the Government team' in a letter, the sentencing phase for Shah was moved from November 18, 2022 to December 15, 2022 by Judge Sidney H. Stein. 
Shah is facing up to 30 years in prison.

Shah and her assistant Stuart Smith were arrested in March 2021 and shortly after pleaded not guilty to one count each of conspiracy to commit wire fraud in connection with telemarketing, conspiracy to commit money laundering and obstructing an official proceeding, according to . 
They allegedly 'defrauded hundreds of victims,' most of which were people over the age of 55, in a nationwide telemarketing scheme. 
Later in 2021, Smith would end up changing his plea to guilty, but he has not yet been sentenced.
This past July, Shah followed suit and changed her plea to guilty during a surprise hearing at a New York court.

'We used interstate telephones and emails,' the reality star said in court, as reported by Matthew Russell Lee of Inner City Press. 'I knew many of the purchasers were over the age of 55. I am so sorry.'
In return for her guilty plea, the US attorney agreed to drop the conspiracy to commit money laundering charges. 
Initially, Shah denied the allegations and was adamant of her innocence. But now, in the wake of her guilty plea, she has not yet publicly addressed her reasoning for the plea change.
'Ms. Shah is a good woman who crossed a line. She accepts full responsibility for her actions and deeply apologizes to all who have been harmed,' her attorney Priya Chaudhry said in a statement to in July.  
Chaudhry continued, 'Ms. Shah is also sorry for disappointing her husband, children, family, friends, and supporters. Jen pled guilty because she wants to pay her debt to society and put this ordeal behind her and her family.'

While in court, moments after changing her plea to guilty, Shah told Judge Stein that she would not appeal her sentence if she received '168 months in prison or fewer', which amounts to 14 years.
She also agreed to 'forfeit $6 million and restitution of $9 million', and admit to knowing her actions were 'illegal' during the proceedings.
Shah has been a cast member of RHOSLC for its entire three season run that began in November 2020.
